Ravenna Arsenal Stream Reroute

Excavated 2,500 CY to create a 300 linear foot temporary channel for the Sand Creek. Work was conducted to facilitate remediation of the original creek bed. Created temporary banks using soil spoils and installed check dams to facilitate low siltation of new channel. Stream channel was designed to accommodate a 10 year flood for a 14 square mile drainage basin. Work was conducted in cooperation with the Ohio EPA, US Army Corp of Engineers and ODNR.
