Augusta Regional Airport Hangar Ramp and Taxi Lane

The paving team is constructing a new concrete apron and taxi lane at the Augusta Regional Airport. The project consists of excavating 30,000 CY to subgrade, placing 4,200 tons of subbase, paving 3,500 CY of cement-treated base course, and 4,100 CY of 10” thick slip-form concrete pavement. This new concrete apron will allow for additional general aviation parking throughout the year, particularly for April's annual PGA event.

Our team will be focused on the grading work and setting up our batch plant in order to begin batching the cement-treated base course and concrete pavement in January 2023.
